Biografia: Over 15 years of active work in the fields of carbonate sedimentology, geobiology and remote sensing, tackling scientific questions on paleoecology, ecological modelling and application of remote sensing to the integrated coastal zone management and reef mapping. This has been accomplished by different research projects funded by FAPESP, NERC (UK) and Fundação O Boticario, involving graduate students and scientific colaborators in Brazil and abroad. Research has also been supported by scientific partnership with consultancy companies working with oil exploration in different sedimentary basins along the Brazilian shelf.
