In this section we introduce the experts who have already confirm their presence on the International Expert Panel on Global Challenges of Water Governance.
Américo O. Sampaio
Superintendent of Research, Technological Development and Innovation of Basic Sanitation Company of the State of Sao Paulo (SABESP). He is the coodinator of the Call of Projects FAPESP/SABESP.
Carlos A. Nobre
Former Director, Center for Weather and Climate Forecasting (CPTEC-INPE) and Former Director, Center for Earth System Science. Currently National Secretary for R&D Policies, Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Brazil.
Conrado M. Rudorff
Postdoctoral fellow at the Brazilian National Institute for Space Research (INPE). He obtained his Ph.D. from the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management, at the University of California, Santa Barbara (2013). His research examines the interaction between physical and biogeochemical processes regulating carbon fluxes in the Amazon floodplain.
Deepak R. Mishra
Assistant Professor at the Department of Geography from the University of Georgia (UGA). His research interests are: Application of geospatial science including remote sensing, Geographical Information Systems, and GPS to coastal environments.
Fernanda G. Sampaio
Researcher at Aquatic Ecossystems Laboratory at Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa Environment). Her research interests are: Physiology, Limonology and Aquaculture.
João A. Lorenzzetti
Senior Researcher at National Institute for Space Research (INPE) and Collaborator Professor at Oceanographic Institute from the University of São Paulo. His research lines are: Remote sensing, physical oceanography and physical limnology.
José G. Tundisi
He is a retired professor of Environmental Science at the University of São Paulo, São Carlos. He is at present, president of International Institute of Ecology, Secretary of Sustainable Development, Science and Technology of the São Carlos City and a full member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences.
Sunil Narumalani
Associate Dean for Academic Programs in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), Professor in the School of Natural Resources - Faculty of Geography/GISciences and Faculty Associate at the Center for Advanced Land Management Information Technologies (CALMIT) from the University of Nebraska (UNL).

Researcher at National Institute for Space Research (INPE) and Currently Head of the Remote Sensing Division from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE).
